What we do not claim
Absorbent cotton wool supplied non-sterile is a different regulatory case from sterile cotton, and the two should not be described in the same words. Belsara supplies non-sterile cotton only. Where a registration number is not yet on file it is left off this page entirely rather than written without the number behind it.
Belsara supplies government hospitals, ESIC hospitals and medical colleges across Uttar Pradesh, and is a registered supplier to East Central Railway. That describes who buys the cotton. It is not a claim of approval, empanelment or affiliation, and no government body endorses Belsara Cotton. See hospital and government supply.

Is Belsara certified?
Yes, and each certificate covers a specific scope. ISO 9001:2015, certificate E20250319464, covers the manufacture and distribution of absorbent cotton wool I.P. ISO 13485:2016, certificate ISATM724, covers wholesale and distribution of surgical and hospital consumables. We are also enlisted with NSIC under the Single Point Registration Scheme.
Is the cotton sterilized?
No. Every pack is supplied non-sterile and is marked "to be sterilized before use". That is the usual form for absorbent cotton wool I.P. used in dressing, cleaning and everyday first aid. Sterilize it in your own autoclave if your procedure calls for it.
Do you supply government hospitals?
Belsara Cotton supplies absorbent cotton wool I.P. to government hospitals, ESIC hospitals and medical colleges across Uttar Pradesh. We are also a registered supplier to East Central Railway.
