What is made here
The factory at B-45, Sector-27, GIDA, Gorakhpur produces absorbent cotton wool I.P. — raw cotton cleaned, de-fatted, bleached and carded until it absorbs rather than repels, written to the Indian Pharmacopoeia and supplied non-sterile.
It leaves the factory in two formats. Roll packs come in 20 g, 40 g, 400 g and 500 g. Zig Zag packs come in 100 g, 400 g and 500 g. A Belpore Microporous Surgical Paper Tape in a 9 m pack is coming.
Where it goes
Government hospitals, ESIC hospitals and medical colleges across Uttar Pradesh buy from Belsara, and Belsara is a registered supplier to East Central Railway. Retail packs reach chemist shops through an authorised distributor in Lucknow. Orders are dispatched to every state and union territory in India.
